Kylie Jenner Enraged With The NEW Changes In Instagram; Urge Social Media Giant To Stop Copying TikTok-REPORTS
Fashion mogul Kylie Jenner does not seem impressed by Meta and the changes they opted for in developing its social media sites. Well, all her anger was flashed as the American multinational technology giant is not displaying enough photos of her friends. 

On Monday, the American media personality shared a post on her Instagram story begging the social media account to return to its glory days, back when filters were a must, and avocado toast ruled the platform.

The post, created by photographer Tati Bruening over the weekend, reads in large letters, “Make Instagram Instagram Again.” Underneath, the message continues, “Stop trying to be TikTok, I just want to see cute photos of my friends.” The note then signs off with, “Sincerely, Everyone.” Jenner added her own message to the post, writing “Pleaseeeeeee” at the bottom of her story.

It’s quite evident, that Jenner is not the only person to make this complaint (Bruening’s post already has well over a million likes).

Mark Zuckerberg, CEO of Meta, which owns Facebook and Instagram, has been pushing into short videos, a market that TikTok dominates on mobile, as reported by CNBC. 

What are the NEW Changes On Instagram?

As per the latest update, Instagram prominently focuses on video content and less on photos. Some of the most noticeable changes are: app's dimensions blowing out — everything is now stretched to the very edge of the screen, and has replaced continuous scrolling with snap scrolling.

Several users pointed out that their feeds are now littered with advertising, and the app has become more like TikTok, which is Instagram’s main competitor. Instagram's algorithm — or the way it determines which content to serve up to users — is also under fire. 

All these changes come back to what Adam Mosseri, the head of Instagram said in a video last week: "It's no secret that we've been trying to make Instagram do better by video while still doing right by photos long term," as reported by ABC News.
